Bachelor's thesis is dedicated to dealing with problems concerning automatic adding of relevant articles from some storage system, while respecting final goal of web portal. As a part of the thesis there is a support for portal personalization according to various options. Project focuses on working with articles generally, whose references are kept in database, and further actualization of the portal.

This diploma thesis aims to convey the atmosphere in the Czech and Slovak society at the time of the Breakup of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic. For this purpose, comments broadcasted by Czechoslovak Radio, Czech Radio respectively, and Slovak Radio were analyzed. The author collected all such comments connected with the breakup of Czechoslovakia between the 1st of July, 1992, and the 31st of December, 1993, regardless of whether these comments focused on the defense, criticism, causes, or consequences of this event. For the analysis itself, the method of analytic induction was used. To put the issue into a broader context, the analysis itself is preceded by a brief overview of events related to the breakup of Czechoslovakia in the period under review. The overview is followed by a description of how the event was perceived by Vladimir Mečiar and Václav Klaus, leaders of the two most powerful political parties in Czechoslovakia at that time and, therefore, the main figures of the breakup. The description is based on their publications and social outputs. Comparison of profesional reviews and user comments on Metacritic in the case of The Last of Us Part II

The subject of this thesis is to analyze and compare professional reviews and user comments on the aggregator Metacritic in the case of The Last of Us Part II. The goal of this thesis is to find out what distinguishes professional video game reviews from user comments, what dominant themes they contain and which of them play a major role in the final evaluation, on the example of The Last of Us Part II. First four chapters of the theoretical part of this thesis deal with the theoretical basis of the areas of game review and its function, review bombing, identification with protagonist and representation of female characters. The theoretical part ends with the introduction of The Last of Us Part II and the aggregator Metacritic. The research part contains a total of two surveys. The first two chapters are devoted to the introduction of methodologies of individual surveys and the definition of their research samples. The first research uses quantitative methods to describe the course of the user score over time. The second research uses qualitative thematic analysis to identify dominant themes in 10 professional reviews and 100 user comments. Discussions on News Articles on social Networks

The thesis focuses on discussions under news articles shared by news servers on the social network Facebook. The aim of this work is to summarize the existing understanding of the topic. Therefore, theoretical concepts connected to the topic are summarized. The thesis focuses on communication, online communication and the presence of news servers on social networks, as well as on the topic of anonymity on social networks and how anonymity can affect discussions. A chapter of the thesis focuses on the spiral of silence and its possible occurrence in discussions. Further, the thesis focuses on the freedom of speech as well as the new ways social networks are trying to fight disinformation and hate online. The empirical part focuses on how Facebook users view the use of social networks by news servers. Another part of the thesis focuses on a group of volunteers called #jsmetu. This group tries to make sure discussions are factual and are free from personal attacks and vulgarity. Three discussions are analysed - discussions #jsmetu took part in. The thesis investigates the influence #jsmetu has on discussions. Due to the topic of the thesis being a very current one, the thesis suggests more areas for further research.
Incorrect expression in selected news sites's Facebook pages: comparative analysis

The master thesis Incorrect expression in selected news sites ́s Facebook pages: comparative analysis deals with uncivil comments in the Facebook pages of two news web sites, which are considered as disinformation - Aeronet.cz and ParlamentníListy.cz, and two news web sites, which are considered as serious - Aktuálně.cz and Novinky.cz. The theoretical part describes previous research with a similar focus, on the results of which I set hypotheses. The reader will be acquainted with the incivility, which is indecency, rudeness, but also with new media or social networks. The aim of the research is to find out whether incivility appear in the Facebook comments under the articles dealing with the migration crisis, and if so, to whom these incivility comments are directed. Comments were collected on articles shared on Facebook pages in the period from 1st January 2019 to 30th June 2019. Qualitative coding of comments identified several regularly recurring categories of incivility, as well as typologies of persons against whom incorrect expressions were directed. The results of the quantitative analysis showed that incivility occurs in the comments, they are most often directed against migrants, using contempt or vulgarisms. The bachelor thesis Comparison of users' comments on ČSFD and reviews of film critics on the films The Shape of Water and Thor: Ragnarok focuses on analysis and comparison of selected film critics' reviews and users' comments on Česko-Slovenská filmová databáze. The theoretical part is focused on defining the terms review, critic, and comment. Big part of the thesis is devoted to mapping the history of film criticism and its evolution in recent history, meant since year 1989. Based on the information obtained and with help of professional texts the thesis sets few rules for writing a film review. In the practical part the thesis is dedicated to Česko-Slovenská filmová databáze and it marginally mentions web portals iDNES.cz and The Guardian. Briefly introduces films Thor: Ragnarok and The Shape of Water, which reviews, and comments are the main subject of study of this bachelor thesis. Film reviews and users' comments are firstly evaluated separately with the help of stated rules for writing a film review. Then they are compared with each other based on the content. The aim of this thesis is to analysis how do film critics see each of the film and how do users on Česko-Slovenská filmová databáze see each of the film.

This diploma thesis The Specifics of Internet Broadcasting in the Czech Republic with Focus on the Viewers' Comments on the Show Jak nás vidí svět (Stream.cz) deals with the typical features of online television broadcasting in the Czech Republic and their comparison to the typical features of traditional television broadcasting. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on the viewers' comments on the show Jak nás vidí svět. The main aim of the thesis is to describe the current position of internet television broadcasting in the Czech Republic with its specifics and its differences compared to traditional broadcasting, focusing on the show Jak nás vidí svět (Stream.cz), specifically on the viewers' comments on the show. First, traditional and internet broadcasting are defined and their specifics are analyzed in detail, which are then compared in a separate chapter. Tools designed for user interaction within student community website

The thesis deals with the design and creation of an appropriate user environment for user interaction on student information sharing portals. Such an environment will allow students to share and draw information, evaluate content, and communicate quickly in the student portal environment. The work also focuses on ways to engage users in activity. The main goal is the design and development of basic components that serve to interact and communicate with users and are suitable for use in student community portals. In order to find the optimal solution, the work includes analysis of community portals and other websites designed to gather information suitable for university students. It also includes defining the requirements for the basic components, based on the analysis of existing pages. Chosen component is a messenger, content rating, comments, and notification system. For the proper functioning, the latest technology and approaches to design and implementation are used in development. These technologies guarantee high-quality optimization, security and, at the same time, do not reduce the resulting functionality and usability of the components. Design and development is introduced in the creation of a new web application Primát.cz. The idea of the project and the vision that should be fulfilled in the future is presented. In addition, there are reasons for the decision to completely redesign the website instead of just updating or partially rebuilding it. The results are the described and detailed functional components and the introduction of their functionality in the environment of Primát.cz.
A complaints book in the library - examples of the use and effectiveness

Bachelor's thesis describes the analysis of the entries in the Books of wishes and complaints about the practice of free different types of libraries. Entries are analyzed of view form and content, and then dividend according to the formal processing of the types of records that are subsequently dividend according dates and according to content, broken down into categories and subcategories that describe the subjekt entries. Further on, response libraries thus obtained suggestions and feedback to the scene chosen by comparing the best practices and recommended its improvement. The work is made up of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the tendency is the definition of the term Suggestions and complaints and are described embodiment, a complaints book with which a user might encounter in the Czech libraries. In the practical part is a description of the analysis, which took place in the National Library, Regional Library in Pardubice and Prague MunicipalLibrary.
